This illustration was created to be the cover artwork for a podcast called Space Lobster. I utilized both Photoshop and Illustrator to complete this design. The client wanted his artwork to have a retro and neon vibe, with a desert night setting.
The below illustration was done using Illustrator. For my design I wanted to stick to a small color palette with a bright red tone on the side, the way my imagery had. The bright red tone and muddy green colors give the overall picture interesting lighting and bring a lot of focus to his face, where a wanted the viewer to look first. I used the circles in the background to add interest and bring everything together.
